I thought the whole reason for a power shut down was to look at the crop in different stages through the combine, like it would be during normal operation??? How would shoving hyd lever clear forward and over filling a machine be able to help figure out anything???
That doesn't make sense to me.


Throwing the hydro and hitting the brakes after cutting the throttle is meant to put extra load on the system to stop it as fast as possible, if you just cut the throttle the rotor can spin for quite awhile.
