Sw mn | Don't know on the 780 but on our 9770 we just hit idle button , pull hydro to neutral, then shut off the rotor. If you are quick enough the material stops where it should.
When starting back up in beans we lift the head. Then back up about 2-3 mph, turn on the rotor, then hit full throttle. If we do it stationary it leaves a big pile of long bean stems in one spot which can cause issues later. So we back up.
Hint..... Watch that the bean straw comes out the back after you do a power shut down. It is much easier to clean out any problems before you add more material the the rotor and plug the rotor and discharge beater tight. If you plug the rotor and discharge beater tight you will hate the machine and your life at the same time. Took two of us about 5 hours to unplug that mess. But it only happened once in the past 23 years. | |
