Subject: Case IH spx3185 Park Brake Release Pressure

Strasburg North Dakota
Working on a spx3185 had a remove and dismantle one of the brake assemblies because it was leaking some oil externally. Once I got it apart I found the brakes disks to be worn out. They are a spring applied brake that take hydraulic pressure to release them. Does anyone know what the psi should be to release them? I put a gauge on the hose of the brake I removed and started it and turned the brake off. Im getting about 250psi at idle and 400 at wide open throttle. Is this considered enough psi or is it not enough and thats the reason that the brake disks wore out.
