canada | I have a 1000 gallon nh3 tank that was purged and had bungs welded in for a diesel pump amd fill port. It has been sitting empty for about 3 years and I am thinking about filling it but am concerned about rust. Should I dump 200 gallons in and recirculate through a filter, slosh it through the yard and repeat? (It is on wheels).
The used rusty diesel I can gift to a friend with a used oil heater.
I woild also put a good stacked set of filters on the pump after cleaning.
