Sorry, but you apparently don't have a clue how Amish operate. If you have "Amish" in your area that will hire lawyers, take people to court, sue people, etc, etc, then they are Amish by name only, and not in practice. It's as simple as that.
Guessing he means if the Amish don't or can't pay the bill the doctors and hospitals will go after any one the can.
