Subject: 7215R PTO Issue....Low Speed

SE Nebraska
Have a JD 7215R that is running our grain cart. PTO is the small 1000 shaft. At some point in the day the tractor started to only rev to 1200 RPM when the PTO is on. This keeps the pto at 620 rpm and unloads the cart very slowly. Have not gotten any errors or codes on the command arm screen. Turned the PTO shaft around to the 540 and it runs fine, tractor revs to 2000 rpm and shaft spins at 540 rpm. The pto symbol on the pillar display shows 540 correctly and then switches to 1000 when the shaft is turned around. The tractor recognizes or "knows" which shaft is installed but for some reason only limits the engine speed when the 1000 pto is installed.

Fieldcruise is off but verified that fieldcruise also works if I set maximum rpm to something less than 1200 rpm. PTO rpm is displaying correctly so the speed sensor is fine. It recognizes which shaft being run so the reed switch seems to be working as well.

Any thoughts? Thanks.
