2013 740 here and it has always ran "warm". It's weird how running one direction it is fine and then turn around and go the other direction and it will run hotter, ours does the very same thing. We'll blow the radiator out a couple times a day in those conditions, pain in the butt but helps. I'm going to look into that speed up kit that the other poster mentioned.
