What about 6 row headers, 12 row? Are "little" guys using class 8 machines and 12 row headers?
An average class 8 goes for the same price as a nice 2388/9610 here. If you're gonna spend money on repairs it may as well be a big combine and have more time for the rest of the fall work. Getting a 2 inch rain on ripe wheat you couldnt get off in time and having it sprout isn't cheap either |
