Hello, I upgraded from a late 90's rotodisk to maybe an '08 rotodisk. On my older head it liked to run somewhere around 680-720 rpm. I just fired my newer head up in the yard and at 500-550 rpm it really seemed like it was about right. I wound it up to 600 and the felt like too much. Did gerringhoff change they're operating speeds at some point in those years?
2008 Geringhoff Rotadisc spec is 720-750 rpm assuming we are talking about the head speed and not the rear header driveshaft speed. I think we typically run somewhat slower as we are not driving that fast. |
