I guess if you can get the 24 row planter cheap it would work
What about 6 row headers, 12 row? Are "little" guys using class 8 machines and 12 row headers?
If 1,500 is little now…
We run a 24r planter and have a class 7 and a class 8 combine both with 12r heads for about 1,700 acres. Only one of the heads was bought new. No point in diddling around 15 feet at a time when you can get so much more speed for not that much money.
