I put the RK weld on bushings on years ago and they held up well, but if I were to do it again I would just buy new arms and bushings. It's not that much more money and the welding makes your planter look like a cobbled up mess. It wouldn't have to if you did a really nice job welding and grinding and painting but if you're doing all that too, just buy new arms and save yourself the trouble.
