if I find a good deal on a larger platform I would buy it but I haven't yet so this is my plan B

Tractorhouse is literally littered with cheap JD bean heads right now. There are a bunch of 915-925 heads for under $3,500 for sale that are in useable condition. I call that a good deal unless your looking for a free one I don't see heads loosing any more value.

915F for $1,500 at Houser & Son in Chillicothe Ohio

918F for $3,000 at LandMark Implement in Kearney Nebraska

920 for $3,500 at Spiker Farms in Wheeler Illinois

925 for $3,000 at Yoder and Frey Inc in Archbold Ohio - This looks like the best deal of all of them.

By the time you get some money out of your 213 and get a newer, nicer, bigger head you'll be way better off.

$3,000 / 30 Acres = $100.00/ Acre / 5 Years of use = $20.00 an acre for a head and this doesn't include negotiating delivery or a better deal and the sell of your 213.
