Southern Illinois
I have one with 285k and the upper pan gasket was leaking. Upon further research the Crankcase filter plugs up and causes excess case pressure. Due to covid the CCV filters were unavailable from Ford. I put a bypass on it so the blow by went straight out the valve cover. It seems to have the amount of blow by I'd expect to have from our IH tractor with a 466. I just looked the other day and the engine has 7800hrs, pulls good as ever.

I've owned it for 165k and ran synthetic oil changed at 8-9k based on oil samples. Been a great truck but I've always kept it well maintained with coolant changes, filters, only good fuel from my home tank. Just got a 7.3 gas but cant stop driving the 2012.

I don't recall seeing blow by before I bypassed the filter, I thought it all went internal. DId you take the oil fill cap off to see it?
