I can speak how a pickup trade was handled. I ordered a new pickup November of 2016 with a what my trade would be valued at with up to 6,000 more miles than order date. The new pickup delayed about a month, and in February we agreed another 1500-2000 miles could be added through the end of March for the same trade value.
