I have a Kraus 30’ stainless fertilizer conveyor belt. It is a 10” tube with a 13” belt. It is currently pto driven but I want to make it hydraulic drive. I can’t find a contact number for Kraus. Does anyone know what cubic inch hydraulic motor I would need to run this thing? I’ve found motors with a 540 pto shaft output that with a coupler look like they would work slick but I have no idea what size to get. Thanks

Is this a permanent conversion or something that you want to go back and forth with? Is 540 rpm the target speed? How much hydraulic flow is available? 10 gpm at 1714 psi would be 10 horsepower. Probably a reasonable guess. Higher pressure would deliver more power if needed. Direct coupled @ 540 rpm, 10 gpm would be a 4.28 cubic inch motor.
