We don’t hire any custom work other then some land rolling I would feel bad and at least offer…


as someone who has done custom baling… that’s why we charge what we charge because at the end it the day we agreed to take on that job. Have had plenty of people who have asked and said we are way to high. That’s fine but to replace your equipment tomorrow and you will understand you’re not charging enough. You are making money until there is a breakdown. In my opinion I would hope he offers some money… but just make note if he doesn’t and say you’re busy next time.

We had one time where the landowner said he lost a pipe and a new roll of barb wire off the rake tractor. Told him he better find it quick. Never did find it. It was a split hay situation and we found it during the winter. It all worked out but that’s just how it goes
