When are they ever gonna determine that you do not need a 16 row corn head, 500 bushel grain tank, rear wheel weights to counter balance, duals and all the other heavy accessories. Then wonder why there is compaction in their fields. How big and strong are they gonna have to make them. Now everybody thinks it’s gonna be done harvesting bye end of October, used to be happy to be done by Thanksgiving. You have something to be thankful for.

Before attacking OP you apparently need to realize how poorly balanced these machines are. Front axle is way too far back so popping a wheelie is super easy with a cornhead, and either weight to keep it on the ground, or operator freaking out and jerking stick to neutral are both hard on the rear axle.

This is bound to happen eventually and I put about 90-95 percent of the blame on IH engineers.
