Texas | You did everything right , I’d pull off the output and see if the new turbo is possible bad ?
I never had that in 30 years of wrenching on trucks . But with the quality of things now it’s possible I guess .
Also it’s possible as well the bad turbo could thrown parts in a piston .
I’d go to harbor freight and get a temp gun and shoot them individually.
Edit - reply to your last post , I’m not sure the parts can get through in the CAC . That’s pure speculation though
