I've had trouble blowing beans right out also. The thing is a little tricky to adjust just right. On mine I have about 3 inches to play with. Too much tilt and your blowing beans out of the header. Too little and your blowing in front of the cutter bar on the ground. I like it when I see chatter beans being blow off the knife.
