| Truck is a 2014, it broke the shaft through the turbo under load. Driver limped it home, we have never had a turbo fail like this on a Volvo before so we didn’t think we would damage anything. He gets back with it and it’s 4 gals low on oil and the charge air cooler, DPF, and DOC are all full of oil. We replaced all of them. Turbo, CAC, DOC and DPF. Went to fire it up to run it though a regen or 2 to clean out any residual oil. It’s still pushing oil out the exhaust turbine on the turbo. Where do we look next? It sounds fine and on a road test it seems to have power and throttle response, no misses or other strange noises. | |
