The story was told(maybe here?) of someone who had a International tractor with a cracked block. Figuring the engine was toast anyway, he kept using it on a TMR mixer. Idled it for a few minutes to mix the feed, and idled it a few minutes longer to unload, then parked it until the next day. Did that for ten years without a drop of coolant in the engine.
