Subject: Plumbing trailer for 2 hydraulic feeds

Saginaw Bay Area - Michigan
Have a couple dump trailers/other that have their own 12v pump running the double acting hydraulic cylinder on them. I want to plumb in alternate fittings so I can use the tractor's hydraulics (SCV remotes) instead of the on-board, for times when the tractor is using the tool. These are simple setups, just a 2 way pump running a cylinder with the up/down wired remote controller. 2-4 gallon oil tanks on the pumps. We want to keep the 12v pumps for when used behind the pickup/ATV etc. thus it needs to be fairly easy to switch between either pump source.

Seems like the simplest option is to put in a couple of the 3 way ball valves to physically change the input and keep either pump isolated from each other.

Put quick couplers right on the valve for the tractor side and then plug in the lines and flip the valve when it's tractor time.

Better ways? Other considerations?
