I've had 2 s670 and 2s770. The 9770 we had before the S series was a solid machine. Either the 1st 670 or 670 had bad shaker pans. With this last 770, it seems like the machine isn't as well built as machines in the past. New and improved means new and improved profits for the company. I'd find a 9770 in good shape, and plan on putting some money in it every year for wear items.
