Brand new crate motor,had installed at local shop,cummins 855.Picked it up ,loaded a load ,drove about 25 miles,smelled heat,lower radiator hose was off water pump,clamp was still on the hose but was obviously never been tightened.Dumped numerous gallons in.Paint was off colored on block.Drove load came back to their shop.They shrugged their shoulders.i should have made them buy another,,ran for years but was an oil eater ,smoke belcher until it went away.
