Iv had 2 of these exact trucks with over 725 thousand miles between the two and I can tell u that terrible as it sounds they will die because injectors starve of oil before anything hurts them even if you run them totally out of oil . Found this out at least 7 different times because high pressure oil lines kept blowing. I probably don’t understand how they work and the HPOP is different I know but curious as to if it would actually run with a true oil pressure that low ? Let us know what you find out


Correct. It will shut off long before damage occurs to loa oil pressure.
