Mine did the wiring harness melting/shorting and has had one drive motor about 15 years ago. I got rid of the Bosch alternator and put a Delco 10SI on mine. Have repacked all 4 hydraulic cylinders now. Replaced u-joints between engine and hydrostat pumps. (Have you ever greased those joints behind a little tin shield under the seat?) I need to check them again. I’m getting some vibration lately. The replacements didn’t have grease fittings like the originals, so it might be about time, though I never greased the first set.
