Alpena MI | Thanks for a real example. I was planning to bring the tile perpendicular to a vertical 48” culvert section, a foot or 2 off the bottom, with 2 or more feet of vertical culvert above the horizontal tile inlet to reach the basin floor. So a shallow bowl with a vertical 48” culvert dropping the water 2’ to the tile inlet. Thus creating and area to create a certain amount of retention and head pressure.
I’m going to push him to do at least an 18” dual wall, we’ll see what he goes for. The farmer is a faithful customer, but thinks I maybe get carried away selling tile sometimes I think. But then again, most of our customers do think that, lol. | |
