They do not come on real often, if itis a real hot day or it sits idling then it will come on sporadically, I would pull the dipstick and feel the oil to check the temp if you are worried, if it is not real hot to the touch I would not be too concerned, if you want I can check one of mine by feel and see where it run ordinarily.
