Generally speaking, there is little to be saved if you are going to match capacities of a larger pipe after install is included.
For example, 2 6" equals 1 8" more or less @ .5% grade $1.16 per foot for the 6" x 2' per 1' of 8" @ $2.31 a foot. We charge the same price per foot of pipe for install of 6" of 8".
