| I have a early 8300(serial 001908) with the 7.6 eng. Tractor Data has it rated a 200 pto HP. When it was at the dealer several years ago for maintenance work they dynoed it at 220 HP. I didn’t realize the transmission shifting was a problem until i read it on here, yes the 12-13 upshift/downshift is somewhat harsher but you can accommodate for it.
FWIW my other tractors have Quad Range trans. | |
