First I replaced the sending unit and I believe that made it worse so I put the old one back in and then bought a new gauge and nothing changed so put my old original gauge back in and returned the new parts. Technically I didn't try the new gauge and new sending unit at the same time maybe I should have. I also have a 9270 I could swap the sending unit just to see what happens.
