Couple things here:

Try smaller spools. If you don't weld a lot, they feed easier. Keep your big roll if you have a project.

They do make knurled rollers.

Make sure your tips and nozzle are compatible.

Enough gas pressure? 35-40

Try a different wire. For heavy welding I got away from the .035 solid and went to the triple 7 .045 flux core, and use mix with it. Totally different animal. Basically "Im here to weld and get it over with".

Wind:::::: stay out of the wind. Turn off the shop fan.

Position. and travel speed.
