Have a Miller MIG also, the only times I had issues with it feeding were:

1) Bad cable inside (where the wire feeds through - not sure of the correct name) Tons of cheap to expensive replacements on Amazon

2) Bad wire - use to use Harbor Freight weld wire but no more! had one roll that had some very small kinks in the wire that caused it to constantly not feed. Had to look at it very close to see the kinks, but I swapped rolls and it worked flawlessly.
