Subject: Trying to make big flotation tires work weak steering

Kendall County, IL
I know I’m pushing it. I have smaller floaters I usually run but threw these fronts on with the hope of a little more flotation if I can make them work. With these larger front tires I barely have the hydraulics to steer but I’d like to hear if there is a way to increase hydraulics to make it work. On anything more than a gradual turn I have almost no steering. During field tests it will work with large wide turns. How do I tell if my weak link is hydraulic pump, steering valve or steering cylinders? Would a larger steering orbital valve help or give more steering power? The last picture is the front tires I normally run and have no issue steering.

Again, I know I am pushing it with this size tire. This machine will not leave my shop or field unless it steers close to normal so please don’t bring up safety concerns. As mentioned I have smaller tires that I will put back on if I can’t get these tires to work.

Sprayer is a GVM Mako 400HC (new Spra-Coupe)
