We have a Fendt 930 that has the outdated Topcon AGI 4. We are looking into upgrading to Novatel or Trimble For RTK capabilities and wondering if anyone has any input on which works better or worse or if they are about the same. There is about a $1500 price difference, Trimble being more expensive.
I would tell you Trimble or Novatel over the Topcon, especially on the RTK. The CEA guidance will have better longevity, and could have some possible unlocks for more guidance options for waylines and whatnot.
I also have some of the Novatel and Trimble parts here that should work in that tractor if your dealer only has new options available.
