What do you guys think when a dealer says we won’t trade for your piece but I’ll sell you ours and you can just sell yours yourself but with no cash and carry discount.
My view, FWIW, is that a Dealer is a "Going Concern".
Its goal is to make money while providing a service.
I see NO obligation for a Dealer to accept trades, if a dealer does it it's because this may ensure a sale or the Dealer can make money by reselling it or both.
IMO it's this simple.
