SW Iowa | Got the front of the tractor stripped down to just the front gear case cover and ready to take it off and put on a new wear sleeve and seal on the crankshaft. I know the book calls for a special tool to pull the wear sleeve and seal (3823908) but I don't want to spend $250 for a one-time tool. I've been told you can pull them on with the dampener pulley. Any advice or tips before undertaking this later today? | |
