Iowa | I had the engine out of the 2588 on the stand for an overhaul last winter.
I had heard of that switch going bad giving problems so I just looked it up before hand in the parts book and ordered it to replace while everything was apart and easy to get too.
That switch is still in the parts bin because I never found it on the engine. I don't know if there was a serial number break that wasn't recorded or if the parts book is just plain wrong for these common rail machines? | |
