Eastern NC | From digging through the parts sight, I think the position sensor you are talking about is only on the Auto feed rate machines. There seems to be no sensor on my hydro handle other than the neutral safety switch (in cab). My hydro is physically moved by a physical cable (old school style) not a potentiometer on the handle (@ cab armrest) and "pilot valves" with solenoids on the hydrostat (@engine bay).
If I misunderstood what you are describing I would love to be wrong and find the real solution.
