Sensor on linkage above the left steering I believe.
Had a 08 9870 and it would reverse direction while going forward. Mechanic at the time said it was that sensor. Linkage might be the wrong term but there is a position sensor for mechanical position of the hydro lever.
JD 9670 STS w/ 2630 doesn't know its in reverse
