The hugger was always a 18-20* angle on the deck plates, but there is no "you have to set it here" to make it work setting. They are adjustable because of different tires sizes, 2wd/4wd, different conditions, etc.

Tilt it back, and as long as you think it's still feeding good enough, then you're all good.

Grain head is a little more picky, because you have some adjustment on the header for guard and sickle angle, but then it can be adjusted on the head as well without having to adjust the tilt arms under the header.
