Eastern NC | My problem is when I back up my 9670 STS 2010 year (mostly for a corner) the 2630 map flips 180 degrees as if I "zero turned". The combine icon on the 2630 shows facing forward but the map is traveling backwards. Not every time, and not a consistent time in reverse to trigger it. Some days it may not happen at first then later every time. Most times it is not the instant I reverse but after 2-10 seconds. I have even seen it flip as I start back moving forward.
How is a non auto feed rate STS supposed to "know" that it is in Reverse? How is the 2630 supposed to know the combine is in reverse? Is it tied to the back-up alarm/switch on the hydrostat in the engine bay?
The real frustration is that it takes anywhere from 15 seconds to 2+ minutes to flip back correct. This can be a problem for autotrac and for mapping. If there was no delay in switching back to forward it would not bother me much. | |
