The threads below got me thinking. Has anybody or their family ever bought a big item at a fair or show. Grandpa back in 1955 bought a brand new IH S-110 pickup the dealer had on display at the local fair. Told them he would take it if they put a hoist on the box which they did. Still have the pickup. But thats it.
We are the dealer, but in the 52 years Dad has been doing this, he only remembers one gravity bed wagon he sold AT a fair or farm show...now, we can't say we never finished a deal at the fair, or maybe started a couple, but it's VERY few deals out of tens of thousands since he's been around.
