Bardstown, Ky | It took me several years to figure it out too. This has been working for 20 years, never had one blow off. I put the cable around and cinch it down tight. Next get several 2 1/2 gallon chemical jugs and fill them about 3/4 full of water. Place them around the pool on top of the cover, use some rope and tie the jug to the cable to keep it from moving around much. This makes an indentation that will probably hold 10 gallons of water. Fill the indentation with water. The wind can no longer raise the cover and move your water on top of the cover across the pool. I have a 18x38 and I think I use about 8 jugs. A round pool make take less. Good luck | |
