I was very happy with a mid line at harbor freight. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either.

I bought a second one for the kids to wear, so we could both have auto darkening helmets as I helped them learn. Bomgaars was having a sale and I got their middle of the road one there for about $80 and have been very happy with it. |
