I currently have a 2008 Kinze 3800 32R30 box planter. I have noticed no chronic issues or design flaws with the machine and it has served me very well. I also have two customers running 80' and 90' 3800s and they love them. One being box, one SDS.

I am kicking around the idea of trading to a 24R30 3800 ASD. There are a lot of old threads about how they were junk, lawsuits, etc but no one really goes into detail in these threads about what the exact problems with them were. What were the issues?

One planter I am looking at is a 2013, EdgeVac, non-sliding transport axle, with super single duals on the transport.
