I don’t know for sure, I thought it would pull better because a 5 bottom has 3 bottoms on the furrow side of center of the tractor and 2 bottoms on the top side of center of tractor. I thought it might distribute the draft more even on the tractor with a 6 bottom having 3 on each side of center.
