Wisconsin | The oil won't settle, it will float on the coolant, almost all of the oil in the coolant should collect in the reservoir. I wouldn't worry about a few drops or a sheen in the coolant reservoir. How many miles and how much oil did it use? not at all uncommon for cars to use oil with the mpg ratings they need to achieve these days. The squeal is probably a slipping belt, you can change the serpentine belt, or live with it, just rev it enough so the squeal goes away as soon as you start it. Don't use the lights or blower until the chirping stops. Plugs and wires/coils is always the first step if they're over the service interval and you're not sure they've been done. | |
