Subject: 2009 Impala Oil In Coolant

I know this is not really 100% Ag related, but I wanted to get as many opinions/ pieces of advice as possible. I have a 2009 Impala LT with the 3500 V6. I checked the oil and it was low. I did not notice it burning oil or any leaks. So I checked the coolant, I used a turkey baster to get a sample and there was a small amount of oil droplets in the coolant. I could not get all the way to the bottom of the reservoir. Will the oil settle? Will I get a different sample if the coolant cycles through the system? However I could not see any coolant in the engine oil. I cannot remember the mileage on the last oil change but the meter is at 75%. It also does not run the smoothest on idle. Could that be a bad PCV valve? It also makes a squealing sound when I start it up if it gets colder out. (The colder=more aggressive squeal) It is not a continuous scream, it only does it before it warms up. What could it be? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
