Mine had same thing, fought it and fought it. Finally just put new flange and bearing on the outside (old flange and bearing still rattling around on inside). I "think" what was "supposed" to happen was hopper was supposed to come off of tube, then hopper augers could slide out. I couldnt get the hopper off the tube. Stupid stupid stupid design, i wasted a ton of time on that pos.
